I have to check this out..I'm a great admirer of RRB as a composer (both concert hall and cinema) but this collabaration is something I know little about..I know that he had a great love for jazz (he mentioned Bill Evans in an interview I heard being a particular fav) and played it (although to what level I'm uncertain)..Hope like you to be pleasantly surprised! A little too pastiche for my tastes (if thats the right word)..The word play and musicianship are, of course, exemplary (enjoyed the re-worked Bacharach 'Do You Know The Way...') but not one I'd see myself particularly re-visiting..Still thats just my take on it..I'd urge others to make their own minds up..And many thanks to anon for the post.
